What We Believe
About God
We believe in one God, who is the creator of all things, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His love and sovereignty guide our lives and the universe.
Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Matthew 28:19: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
About Man:
We believe that man was created in the image of God, endowed with dignity and purpose, yet has fallen into sin and requires redemption.
Genesis 1:27: “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
About Eternity:
We believe in the reality of eternity, where every individual will spend their afterlife in either heaven or hell, based on their relationship with Jesus Christ.
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Matthew 25:46: “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
About Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again, offering salvation to all who believe.
John 1:14: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
1 Corinthians 15:3-4: “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.”
About Salvation:
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and cannot be earned through works.
Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Romans 10:9: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
About Eternal Security:
We believe in eternal security, meaning that once a person is truly saved, they cannot lose their salvation.
John 10:28-29: “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
About The Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, who empowers and guides believers, convicts the world of sin, and produces spiritual fruit in our lives.
John 14:26: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
About The Bible:
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, authoritative and sufficient for teaching, correction, and guidance in all matters of faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
Hebrews 4:12: “For the word of God is alive and active.
About Marriage:
What We Believe: We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman, intended to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church, and to serve as a foundation for family and society.
Genesis 2:24: “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Ephesians 5:31-32: “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.”
